Questions?

Here are some of the most common questions I get about working together.

If you don’t see your question listed or are ready to schedule a free consult, contact me.

  • I offer secure virtual therapy sessions for clients located anywhere in California. Many clients appreciate the flexibility and privacy of meeting from home while still having a focused space for meaningful work.

  • Individual Session: $215

    CoupleIntensive (5 hours): $1,200

    Couple/Family Session: $300

All regular sessions are 50 minutes.

  • Your first session is an opportunity for us to slow down and understand what has been bringing you to therapy.

We will talk about your relationship history, the patterns you have been noticing, and what you hope might feel different in your life or relationships. From there, we begin identifying the deeper dynamics shaping those experiences so our work together has a clear direction.

  • The length of therapy depends on your goals and what you would like to change.

Some clients come to therapy for a few months to work through a specific pattern or transition. Others choose to stay longer as they deepen their self-understanding and continue strengthening their relationships.

Most clients begin to notice meaningful shifts within the first several months of consistent work.

  • I do not accept insurance and operate as an out-of-network provider.

This allows our work to remain private and focused on your needs rather than insurance requirements. Many insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis and place limits on the type or length of therapy that can be provided.

I can offer a superbly that you can give to your insurance company for reimbursement (if that is apart of your plan with your insurance).

  • Insurance companies often require therapists to assign a mental health diagnosis and may limit the number of sessions or types of treatment that can be used.

Working outside of insurance allows us to focus fully on your goals and the pace of change that makes sense for you. It also protects your privacy, since your therapy records are not shared with an insurance company.

Some clients choose to use out-of-network benefits through their insurance plan. If this is something you would like to explore, we can discuss it during your consultation.

  • Therapy works best when you feel comfortable and understood by your therapist.

The consultation call gives us a chance to briefly talk about what you are looking for and answer any questions you may have. It also allows you to get a sense of my approach so you can decide whether it feels like the right fit for you.
