MEET CINNAMON R. JOHNSON LMFT, ONLINE RELATIONSHIP THERAPIST IN LOS ANGELES.
Ready to stop managing everyone else’s emotions and start honoring your own?
Heal the pattern beneath the problem
You’re tired of repeating the same patterns in your relationships. You overthink what you said, question whether you’re too much (or not enough), and feel stuck between wanting closeness and wanting space. A part of you knows something deeper is driving this — and you’re ready to figure it out.
I believe therapy isn’t about fixing you, it’s about understanding the patterns that formed for a reason and helping you build new ones that actually support the life and relationships you want.
In our work together, we’ll slow things down. We’ll look at how your past experiences shaped the way you show up in connection today, especially under stress. I’ll help you identify where you abandon yourself, overfunction, shut down, or people-please, and we’ll practice doing it differently in real time.
I’m warm, but I’m also direct. I’ll reflect what I see, gently challenge what isn’t serving you, and help you build emotional awareness and boundaries that feel grounded, not performative.
My goal isn’t just insight. It’s change you can feel:
Feeling secure without constant reassurance.
Having hard conversations without spiraling.
Staying connected without losing yourself.
Clients often tell me they feel deeply understood in our sessions, and also supported in actually doing something different outside of them.
You don’t need another podcast.
You need a space to practice doing things differently.
Not every therapist works the way I do. I use my training as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to help you understand the patterns that keep showing up in your relationships, especially the ones that come out under stress.
I’m used to working with thoughtful, high-functioning adults who look “fine” on the outside but feel stuck, anxious, or disconnected on the inside. I won’t label you or make you feel broken. We’ll look at what’s happening, understand where it came from, and work on doing it differently.
This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about helping you feel more secure in yourself and in your relationships.
Clients describe me as warm, steady, and direct in a way that feels safe. They often tell me they feel deeply understood, and also gently pushed to grow.
I won’t overwhelm you. I won’t judge you. And I won’t let you stay stuck in patterns that are hurting you.
My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling clearer, calmer, and more confident in how you’re showing up in your life and relationships.
